I am a DevOps-focused cloud engineer who transitioned from a 28-year teaching career into software development and backend engineering, building hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code tools. Over the last two years I completed formal DevOps and cloud engineering training (AZAV) and earned AWS Cloud Practitioner and Ondia Cloud/DevOps certificates while contributing as an ASP.NET Core backend developer.
I combine strong analytical and communication skills from decades of teaching with practical technical experience: C#, .NET, Python, SQL, Linux administration, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure). I seek to apply this hybrid background to deliver reliable, automated infrastructure and scalable applications in collaborative teams.
