What I'm looking for

I am looking for opportunities that allow me to engage in impactful public health research and policy development, ideally in a collaborative and innovative environment.

I am a dedicated public health professional currently pursuing my Master of Public Health at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. My experience spans various roles in public health and laboratory settings, where I have honed my skills in research, data analysis, and community health initiatives. I am passionate about improving health outcomes, particularly for vulnerable populations.

During my tenure as a Research Student Assistant at the Texas A&M Agriculture, Food & Nutrition Evidence Center, I conducted a scoping review for the FDA on contaminants in agricultural food production. This role allowed me to apply rigorous scientific methods to ensure compliance with safety regulations. Additionally, my internship at the Texas Department of State Health Services enabled me to contribute to the Maternal Mental Health in Rural Counties initiative, where I identified critical gaps in services and developed community workshops to address these issues.

My background as a Medical Laboratory Technologist and Associate Laboratory Microbiologist has equipped me with strong diagnostic skills and a solid understanding of laboratory protocols. I am eager to leverage my diverse experiences and skills to contribute to impactful public health initiatives that promote health equity and improve community well-being.
