At Usmanu Danfodiyo University Teaching Hospital (UDUTH), I conduct eye examinations and visual screenings under supervision. I also provide reading glasses and lubricating eye drops as directed, and educate patients on preventive eye care.
During my clinical apprenticeship at the Department of Ophthalmology, Semmelweis University, I performed eye examinations, refraction and anterior-segment evaluations under professional supervision. I gained practical experience with slit-lamp biomicroscopy, tonometry and contact lens fitting.
At the World Sight Day Programme at Military Hospital, Sokoto, I participated in vision screening and eye-health awareness activities. My training also includes optical dispensing, lens edging and frame adjustments.
