Yanelly Vasquez

I’m a Medical Assistant/phlebotomist dedicated to patient-focused care, clinically accurate bloodwork, and smooth front-desk workflows. At Rocky Hill Medical Center, I handle patient check in/check out, bloodwork, referrals, and insurance verification while supporting a steady patient experience.

I also trained under the supervision of Dr. Bhawani Ojha and completed phlebotomy training through Northwest Phlebotomy School. I’m careful with proper sterilization techniques and specimens collection/processing to help ensure consistent results.

Before advancing in healthcare, I gained customer service and operational experience through roles like stocking merchandise, assembling displays, and serving clients. I also worked with Center for Latinos Progress and DayBreak, supervising clients and supporting community needs.

Now I’m actively building my future with an associates degree at CTState Manchester community college, with fields of study including radiography and medical interpreter, and I’m motivated to keep expanding both my clinical and administrative skills.
