At Just Cooked, I built and shipped a live iOS and Android food support app as its sole developer. It uses AI to adapt meals, tools, and features to each person's ingredients and needs, and has paying users.
I built its server-side AI features, automations, and Supabase/PostgreSQL backend. I work with AI agents daily, writing specs and prompts and carefully reviewing their outputs, especially changes involving user data, payments, sign-in, or subscriptions.
When analytics showed that the first version wasn't converting, I mapped the onboarding-to-payment journey and redesigned the onboarding and core experience in a one-month rebuild. Early results showed sign-up-to-trial conversion rising from 1 in 45 to about 1 in 5, while 99% of the last 100 sign-ups completed the new onboarding.
I also handled Just Cooked's legal work, store releases, and user support, and manage a part-time marketing teammate. My background includes an LLB (Hons) Law from the University of Huddersfield and professional acting.
