Wilmer Lora
@wilmerlora
Backend & Cloud Engineer with 10+ years building reliable .NET services, SQL workflows, and Azure integrations.
CanadaWhat I'm looking for
I’m a backend‑focused Software Engineer with a strong foundation in C#/.NET, SQL Server, Azure Functions, microservices, and high‑volume data processing. Over the past decade, I’ve built and optimized ingestion pipelines, cloud integrations, and enterprise reporting systems across real estate, manufacturing, retail, and energy sectors.
At Realtor.ca, I work on cloud‑native ingestion and transformation workflows, improving reliability, observability, and performance across distributed systems. Previously, I modernized ERP and reporting environments at Atlantic Packaging and led backend/SAP ABAP development at CDEEE, where I refactored legacy systems and improved SQL performance at scale.
I enjoy solving complex data problems, designing maintainable architectures, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams. Fluent in English and Spanish, I bring clear communication, curiosity, and a practical engineering mindset to every project.
