At Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO), I gained practical knowledge of switchyard and control-room equipment at a 132/11 kV substation. I became familiar with power-transformer pre-commissioning tests, protective relays, and monitoring incoming and outgoing feeders.
For my COMSATS University bachelor’s thesis, I worked on designing a wide bandpass filter for a low-noise pre-amplifier, validating the design through simulations and hardware implementation. In the Industry 4.0–IoT bootcamp, I developed PLC programs and designed HMI/SCADA interfaces, while learning about IoT, cloud data transmission, and machine-learning-based predictive analysis.
