I build practical Python cybersecurity and backend software, with a focus on security automation, log analysis, threat detection, and network discovery.

In my Log Analysis & Threat Detection project, I built a system that parses authentication and security events, normalizes log data, and identifies suspicious activity such as repeated SSH failures, username enumeration, and unusual login behavior.

I designed the detection pipeline around observable evidence including source IPs, usernames, timestamps, event frequency, and authentication outcomes. I also added automated tests for parsing, normalization, detection behavior, and edge cases while keeping the architecture extensible for new log sources and rules.

I also built a network discovery tool that identifies hosts, exposed ports, and services. It includes structured asset records, timeout and error handling, a CLI, logging, automated tests, and result export to support repeatable security assessments.
