Vanessa Runnion

I’m a Registered Nurse with leadership experience and a strong background in clinical operations, chart auditing, and care coordination. In my current Clinical Assistant Nurse Manager role, I conduct chart audits to ensure documentation accuracy, compliance, and billing integrity while coordinating patient care plans with physicians to support the appropriate level of care.

I also use Epic EMR to document, review, and maintain regulatory compliance, and I oversee clinical operations across multiple sites. I manage staff scheduling and support day-to-day execution of care through interdisciplinary collaboration and clear communication.

Before that, I delivered infusion therapies in home settings and focused on patient assessments, monitoring treatment responses, and precise EMR documentation. Earlier roles strengthened my foundation in maintaining complete, compliant patient records, supporting procedures, and ensuring continuity of care through discharge planning and order review.

I’m actively building my nursing education with a BSN in progress, and I bring certifications including ACLS, BLS/CPR, and NIHSS. I’m drawn to roles in utilization management, clinical review, and nurse auditing—where my analytical mindset, EMR proficiency, and quality-first approach can improve healthcare outcomes and cost efficiency.
