At University of Forestry, Sofia, I conducted dendrochronological research into forest disturbance regimes. I planned field sampling, collected tree-ring cores, and prepared samples for analysis.
I measured ring widths, crossdated samples, and developed chronologies to identify growth anomalies and disturbance signals. I also carried out preliminary statistical analyses and visualisations.
My bachelor’s thesis examined avalanches in forests in Pirin National Park, and my master’s thesis studied avalanche regimes and their impact on nearby forests. I’m interested in applying field research and environmental analysis to sustainable land and resource management.
