Currently, I am working as a Sr. QA Engineer at Trime, a Video Conferencing meeting tool that can also manage Tasks, Documents, Collaboration, Performance, Accountability, and Productivity of teams. In my role, I work with cross-functional teams to refine and improve product features and generate ideas for new functionality. I execute quality tests on company products to determine improvements or flaws, and I lead investigations into quality-related issues, determining defect root causes. Additionally, I improve the durability, reliability, and quality of Trime by conducting thorough quality assessments and recommending changes. I keep project leaders regularly updated with progress, maintaining open, productive communication, and I train and coach junior employees.
Previously, I worked as a Software Test Engineer at Freecharge, an e-commerce and digital payments platform. I reviewed and validated requirements and technical specifications to develop and execute test plans. I wrote and updated manual test cases, worked with Agile and Scrum methodologies to accomplish project milestones, and met demanding timelines. I performed unit and regression tests on software and individual modules, documented, triaged, and managed defects in JIRA, and worked with developers to facilitate timely resolutions. I tested functionality, performance, and compliance of products against design specifications and conducted compatibility testing on different devices. I also performed Android battery and data consumption testing.
In my projects at Trime, I have contributed to the development of Speech to Text for writing notes during ongoing meetings, various platforms to connect through the Trime platform for meetings, a payment scheme for users to purchase different plans as per usage, and an Admin Panel to keep records of all users and to assign them the plans that they choose. At Freecharge, I worked on projects such as FreeCharge Wallet, Freecharge Chat, Merchant Onboarding, Virtual Cards, Utilities, P2P/P2M Transactions UPI integration, Mutual funds (Axis Bank Product), and an E-commerce Website for SNAPDEAL.
