At Pak-Arab Refinery Ltd (PARCO), I processed foreign currency payments for imports, foreign contracts, and hired services. My work included letters of credit, wire transfers, and bank guarantees.
I operated SAP and Oracle Financials for import and project transactions, reconciled records against the General Ledger, and prepared shipment and import cost computations. I also computed local crude oil pricing formulas and processed related payments.
I obtained foreign-exchange allocation approvals and tax documents from relevant authorities, and coordinated with external auditors. I also trained and supported peers on SAP and Oracle financial modules.
