I'm currently preparing management accounts, managing reconciliations, and delivering month-end close reporting for multiple client portfolios at Howard Financial Services. My work includes Profit & Loss statements, balance sheets, revenue reporting, intercompany journals, budgeting, forecasting, and audit support.
Previously at Ubusisiwe Maintenance, I progressed from Assistant Accountant to Accountant, taking ownership of general ledger maintenance and bank, creditor, debtor, and VAT reconciliations. I supported financial reporting, statutory compliance, internal controls, forecasting, and variance analysis for management decision-making.
I've reduced month-end close time through improved reconciliations and journal processing, maintained clean audit trails, and submitted VAT201 returns with 100% SARS compliance and zero penalties. I focus on finding and resolving discrepancies while keeping financial records accurate and deadlines on track.
