What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a cybersecurity role where I can own risk assessments and incident response, strengthen security infrastructure, and deliver security training—while supporting compliance with frameworks like PCI DSS, GLBA, and SOX.

I’m an Information Security Officer who develops and implements information security policies, protocols, and procedures to safeguard sensitive financial data and ensure compliance. I conduct risk assessments and security audits to identify vulnerabilities, recommend mitigation strategies, and strengthen controls over time.

In my role, I monitor and analyze security incidents, respond promptly to breaches, and coordinate corrective measures through an established incident response plan. I partner with IT teams to implement security measures such as firewalls, encryption, and intrusion detection systems, and I provide employee training and security awareness initiatives to build a security-focused culture.

I also support governance and compliance by preparing detailed reports for senior management and liaising with regulatory bodies, including industry standards such as PCI DSS, GLBA, and SOX. Before cybersecurity, I worked in application intake analysis for public defenders and served as a customer service representative, sharpening my accuracy, communication, and problem-solving skills.
