What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a junior legal role where I can support litigation, draft and review legal documents, and contribute to legal advisory and dispute resolution. I want a dynamic, client-focused environment that values research, professionalism, and continuous learning.

I’m a result-driven legal practitioner with experience in litigation support, legal advisory, contract drafting, and dispute resolution. I bring analytical reasoning, research ability, and advocacy skills grounded in a solid understanding of legal procedures and commercial transactions.

Through my NYSC Legal Intern / Legal Assistant role at National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA), I conducted legal research on regulatory, commercial, and administrative law matters. I supported litigation by preparing case files, legal briefs, and court documents, and I helped maintain organized legal records while assisting senior counsel on contract and legal opinion reviews.

During my legal externships, I strengthened my courtroom and drafting foundation by observing court proceedings at Bayelsa State High Court and supporting statutory and case law research with Stanley Damabide and Partners. I also built practical writing and professional ethics skills through opinion writing, regulatory analysis, and legal drafting support.

I’m currently committed to excellence and strategic client-focused outcomes, including work on policy and public education. I’ve also contributed to legal awareness through policy letters, implementation plans, and legal sensitization programs, always translating complex legal frameworks into clear, accessible guidance.
