What I'm looking for

A fully remote treasury or finance operations role with an international team. I want to own processes end-to-end — cash management, payments, liquidity planning — and improve them through automation. I value clear communication, realistic planning, and employers who let results speak instead of office presence. Async-friendly setups are a plus.

I'm a Treasury & Finance Manager based in Germany, currently responsible for cash management, payment operations, and liquidity planning at a mid-sized company in the medical cannabis industry.

My foundation is a formal German banking apprenticeship (Bankausbildung), which I've built on with hands-on experience across the full treasury stack: EBICS payment processing, konfipay, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central with OPplus, and bank account management across multiple institutions.

What sets me apart is automation. I build custom Excel/VBA tools that turn manual finance processes into structured, reliable workflows. At a previous employer, I reduced a payment processing routine from 1.5 days to under 2 hours. More recently, I designed and implemented an open-items management tool covering import, categorization, risk scoring, and payment prioritization — now used by management for weekly payment decisions.

I work best in lean environments where I can own processes end-to-end, spot structural problems early, and fix them with pragmatic tooling rather than adding headcount.

I'm looking for a fully remote treasury or finance operations role with an international team. I'm analytical, direct, and self-driven — I don't need much supervision, just clear goals.
