At Merck, I manufactured bulk polysaccharide powder for pneumococcal vaccine formulation and bulk CRM197, a conjugate protein. I also maintained, calibrated, and prepared analytical equipment used in manufacturing.
I used DeltaV, MES/PAS-X, GLIMS, Veeva, and SAP while following ALCOA principles and cGMP guidelines in manufacturing clean rooms. I assisted with the development of SOPs and used them to execute manufacturing processes.
At Histogenetics, I processed specimens for HLA histocompatibility and performed routine tests, including DNA extraction. As an intern at Philadelphia Zoo, I analyzed animal behavior observations in Excel and presented my findings.
