Tarun Jhawar

I’m a chartered accountant with experience as an Articled Assistant at Deloitte Haskins & Sells, working across Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) and Metals & Mining/Steel sectors. I performed statutory audits, limited reviews, and tax audits for listed and unlisted companies, including an EPC conglomerate with a turnover exceeding INR 2.35 lakh crore.

I independently owned critical audit areas—property, plant & equipment, treasury, payroll, and expenses—while ensuring compliance with Ind AS. I supported audit planning through risk assessment, control mapping, and materiality determination, then executed walkthroughs, internal controls testing, and analytical procedures like variance analysis, sales rate testing, and reconciliations. I also conducted site visits to major EPC project locations across 10+ locations to understand operational processes and validate the design of internal controls over project activities.

I’m driven by structured problem-solving, analytical strength, and client centricity, and I bring ownership to fast-paced work. I’ve been recognized with awards including “Performer of the Quarter” (Deloitte) and “Move the Dot Individual Award,” and I’m now seeking supply chain and hospitality roles where I can tackle entrepreneurial challenges while continuing to learn and grow.
