Tamerlan Rajabov
@tamerlanrajabov
I lead data-driven programs, evaluations, and national research initiatives.
What I'm looking for
I've led planning, monitoring, evaluation, research, and data systems work at UNICEF Azerbaijan for nearly a decade, including reviving and completing MICS6 after a 23-year suspension.
I turn qualitative and quantitative evidence into actionable recommendations, building real-time data systems, using alternative data sources, and supporting partner organizations through survey design, fieldwork monitoring, and reporting. My work has included EU donor engagement, logframes, and technical and financial reporting.
I've also supported UNICEF assignments across Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, Poland, ECARO, and North Macedonia, where I contribute technical assistance and quality assurance for MICS7.
Alongside program leadership, I've taught data-driven decision-making, statistical analysis, and research methods for 15 years. I've led teams of more than 100 people and managed multi-million-dollar programs while building analytical capacity in academic and field settings.
