Licensed psychologist and Lead Counselor specializing in trauma-informed care, resilience, and psychologically safe teams.
What I'm looking for
I’m a Licensed Psychologist and Lead Counselor at the Lebanese American University (LAU) in Byblos, where I’ve provided counseling services to university students and staff since Sep 2017. I design and deliver workshops on PTSD, crisis management, and resilience, and I build campus-wide awareness campaigns that increase student engagement in mental health services.
In addition to my counseling role, I’ve collaborated with cross-functional departments to enhance students’ wellbeing, and I was appointed Professional Development Coordinator from 2022–2024. In that capacity, I led staff training initiatives to strengthen the skills and support systems people rely on when students need help most.
From Jan 2023 to Dec 2025, I worked as a Psychology Consultant and Affiliate with Headington Institute in the USA, providing psychological support to humanitarian professionals in high-stress environments. I designed and facilitated interactive webinars on trauma, resilience, and trauma-informed leadership, and I empowered managers with practical tools to foster psychologically safe, resilient teams in complex field settings.
Earlier in my career, I served as a School Counselor (Feb 2014–Sep 2017) and Children, Adolescents, and Family Counselor (Mar 2015–Nov 2016), supporting Grades 5 through 12 with social and emotional care and targeted counseling (including dyspraxia, anger/impulse control, and hyperactivity). I helped strengthen whole-school wellbeing through case conferences, developed a Child Protection Policy with “himaya,” and coordinated trainings and programs such as the “Service as Actions” project on Gender Equality with “ABAAD.”
