I am a qualified and results-oriented Chemical and Process Systems Engineer with a BTech Honors Degree from the Harare Institute of Technology. My hands-on experience includes operating critical equipment such as filter presses, thickeners, and ball mills, particularly in the lithium and gold mining sectors. I am dedicated to adhering to safety, health, and environmental guidelines while optimizing plant operations.
Currently, I serve as a Plant Operator at Sabi Star Lithium Mine, where I monitor moisture content, manage overflow and underflow, and ensure the safe operation of plant machinery. My role as a Metallurgical Technician involves reviewing plant operating statistics and troubleshooting metallurgical process shortfalls, making me a key contact point for metallurgical processes within my team.
In addition to my technical skills, I possess strong leadership abilities, having supervised teams and introduced new operating procedures to enhance efficiency. I am passionate about optimizing production output while maintaining safe working conditions, and I continuously seek innovative solutions to improve processes in the mining industry.
