I am seeking a role that allows me to combine my legal interests with community engagement, fostering cultural understanding and advocacy.

I'm Sylvie Burmeister, an aspiring legal professional with a strong commitment to cultural exchange and community service. My experience includes working as a paid legal assistant at the Law Office of Ronald K. Ziff, where I honed my skills in legal documentation and client interaction. Additionally, I founded the International Pen Pal program, connecting over 350 students from Culver City with peers in Sweden, fostering understanding and curiosity among diverse cultures.

As a leader in various organizations, including my role as Chief Information and Sargent of Arms for the International Convention of Labor, I have developed strong communication and organizational skills. I have successfully facilitated debates and ensured a civil environment during conventions, showcasing my ability to lead and collaborate effectively. My involvement with the Culver City Sister City Committee as a youth representative has further enriched my understanding of community outreach and event management.
