I’m a Senior Java Developer with 7 years of commercial experience building production-grade backend systems with Java 17, Spring Boot 3, and microservices architecture. I’ve delivered RESTful APIs and event-driven platforms across fintech, telecoms, and non-profit sectors, with a strong focus on reliability, scalability, and clean delivery from design through production deployment.

At Hyperleap Future Technologies (Jan 2021 – Mar 2026), I refactored monolithic systems into independently deployable Spring Boot microservices—so each component could be tested in isolation, scaled independently, and released without impacting the rest of the platform. I integrated third-party APIs (payment gateways, identity providers, external data sources) with proper error handling and retry logic, added Redis caching to reduce database load and improve response times, and set up Grafana dashboards and alerts to catch performance degradation before it affected end users.

I also lead small engineering teams and act as a main point of contact with clients across concurrent projects, translating business requirements into technical specifications and keeping stakeholders informed at every stage. I bring this same engineering ethos to major builds like a non-profit humanitarian civic platform (role-based access control, JWT, Stripe webhooks, caching) and a real-time auction backend using WebSockets with Kafka-backed messaging and AWS deployments.
