At Span Technology Services, I test web-based US Payroll and Workforce Management applications, designing test scenarios, cases, and plans from business requirements and functional specifications.
For the US Payroll & Tax Filing Application, I validate payroll workflows and federal, state, and local tax calculations across all 51 US states. I also perform backend and API checks to verify payroll and tax data consistency.
I automated end-to-end payroll workflows for 30+ states using Robot Framework and Playwright, and built reusable automation frameworks for onboarding, employee creation, payroll processing, and validation. This work reduced regression cycle time and manual testing effort.
I’ve also tested paystub generation and workforce time and attendance workflows, and investigated production tickets involving payroll calculations and tax withholding. I shared knowledge with the engineering team on US payroll compliance and conducted an internal session on Shift-Left Testing.
