I’m a Manager of SOX & Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) with ~9 years of experience at the intersection of compliance engineering, IT operations, and technical risk management in high-scale enterprise environments. I lead globally distributed teams to secure complex multi-ERP ecosystems—Oracle Cloud/EBS, SAP ECC, and SAP S/4HANA—plus custom Java-based applications serving up to 300,000+ users.
I architect end-to-end SOX compliance frameworks, mitigate Segregation of Duties (SOD) toxic combinations, and produce rigorous technical documentation such as Risk and Control Matrices (RCMs) and control narratives. I optimize automated control testing and drive enterprise-wide GRC platform implementations, including ServiceNow GRC and AuditBoard, to build robust, audit-ready environments—backed by strong evidence management for external auditors.
In my current role at Smiths Group plc, I own global IT compliance and SOX program execution, including global SOD policy/rulesets and joiner-mover-leaver (JML) access lifecycle governance. I also developed ControlsAssist to integrate with SAP GRC and Diligent High Bond, reducing manual audit effort by 40%, while strengthening least-privilege culture through access certifications and emergency access governance (Firefighter).

Own the global IT compliance and SOX program, including maintaining the global SOD policy, rulesets, and risk and control matrices across finance applications. Lead joiner-mover-leaver (JML) and emergency access governance, and coordinate audit evidence and walkthroughs with external auditors and Internal Audit.
Lead enterprise identity governance and user access management initiatives across SAP GRC, Active Directory, and Salesforce. Designed and implemented a global ISMS operating model aligned to ISO 27001, including SOD requirements, and served as a primary point of contact for external IT audits and SOC 1 reports.
Implemented an Agile-driven approach to connect SAP satellite systems to a centralized SAP Identity Management tool, supporting identity management for 95K+ users across multiple applications. Managed change management end-to-end from requirements to deployment, improving SAP security components across ECC, GRC, BI, and IDM.
