I am a dedicated English teacher with formal training (Higher National Diploma in English, NVQ-6) and practical classroom experience across preschool and primary levels. I have served as an assistant teacher for Grade 1, supported lead teachers with daily classroom operations, and designed lesson plans to motivate students and fill knowledge gaps.
Beyond classroom instruction, I have worked as a data entry operator and as an UCMAS mental-arithmetic instructor, creating and implementing lesson plans that enhanced students' understanding of mental arithmetic concepts. I collaborate well with colleagues, manage classrooms effectively, and support individual student needs.
I am fluent in English and Sinhala and a native Tamil speaker. I seek opportunities where I can apply my instructional skills, nurture student growth, and contribute to a supportive, student-focused learning environment.
