Sudin Ad

I've supported engineering surveying at NEA Engineering Company Limited, completing precise tunnel and structure surveys that contributed to the Diversion Tunnel breakthrough. My work covered reconnaissance, control surveys, topographical mapping, quantity calculations, and access-road mapping.

I'm pursuing an M.E. in Geoinformatics at Kathmandu University after completing a B.E. in Geomatics Engineering. I also participated in the Erasmus+ KA171 International Exchange Program at Yildiz Technical University.

My research focuses on flood and landslide risk assessment using Sentinel-1 SAR, explainable machine learning, hydrological modeling, and spatial analysis. I have developed projects in SAR-based landslide detection, InSAR surface displacement estimation, flood susceptibility mapping, HEC-RAS 2D flood modeling, and urban heat island assessment.

I'm passionate about disaster risk reduction, climate resilience, and geospatial decision-support systems for disaster management and early warning.
