Stian Nordvik

I’m a fullstack developer with 2.5 years of professional experience, focused on building robust, well-structured systems across backend and frontend. I bring strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, .NET and React, and I enjoy working end-to-end—from APIs to user-facing components.

At Norway’s largest bank, DNB, I contributed to Azure migration and modernization of critical payment systems. For Payment Data Storage, I worked on a large-scale effort responsible for 100+ applications across a team of 30+ developers, extending transaction support to UK and German markets and improving local testing efficiency by setting up a Docker environment connecting multiple applications.

For Settlement Report Processing, I architected and led the migration of a Java Spring Boot application from on-premises infrastructure to Azure Cloud. I documented Azure cloud infrastructure, refactored code and APIs for compatibility with Azure SQL and Blob Storage, and helped deliver both applications to production for corporate clients and bank employees.

I also design and deliver practical production workflows, as shown in my Mandate API work (Kotlin and Spring Boot) with Podman containerization and Flyway-based database migrations across environments. As part of distributed teams—and working independently when needed—I’m motivated by clean architecture, reliable delivery, and building systems that are easy to maintain and scale.
