Steven Santos

I earned my Juris Doctor with a concentration in Health Law from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law in May 2023. I was honored with the Ovid and Clare Lewis Public Interest Fellowship and the Van Horn Law Group Pro Bono Honor Program Gold Award.

As a paralegal at Kubicki Draper, I drafted and reviewed legal documents, conducted extensive legal research, and managed client communications, scheduling, and confidential files. Earlier roles as a file clerk strengthened my database and discovery coordination skills and supported trial preparation.

As a law clerk with Legal Services of Greater Miami, I researched defenses, drafted answers, motions, and discovery responses, interviewed clients, and assisted with creating homeowners’ associations in mobile home parks. Those experiences deepened my client-facing abilities and substantive legal drafting skills.

I regularly use Westlaw and LexisNexis, co-authored ecological research presentations as a volunteer research assistant, and bring a detail-oriented, public-interest focused approach to legal work. I am committed to applying my research and drafting strengths in roles that serve communities and advance health law causes.
