Steven Monroe

I bring a strong blend of classroom leadership and research-focused detail. As a BLS certified Middle School Science Teacher (6th/7th Grade), I implement the district science curriculum, develop standards-aligned lesson plans, and differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs.

I create engaging learning experiences using lectures, discussions, demonstrations, group activities, and inquiry-based investigations, and I regularly design hands-on experiments to support early laboratory learning. I use both formative and summative assessments, provide constructive feedback to parents and students, and maintain accurate grade and performance records.

Before teaching, I coordinated Phase III clinical trial studies in a Clinical Research Coordinator role by aligning research protocols and identifying/recruiting eligible participants. I also worked as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist at Octapharma, processing and evaluating training and documenting competency assessments, with lab skills including micropipetting, centrifugation, and cell culture techniques.
