Stephen Salamante

I am a software engineer with experience building front-end and back-end features for enterprise travel systems and internal web applications. I combine a strong Computer Science foundation from De La Salle University with hands-on product and support experience at Navitaire.

At Navitaire, I handled high-priority support for 35+ global carriers, coordinated with cross-functional stakeholders, resolved software bugs, and delivered backlog items with an emphasis on quality and timely execution. I proactively addressed technical debt and implemented operational improvements that reduced friction for operations teams.

During a product internship I led front-end development and contributed to back-end work on a Training App Center, designing multimedia learning solutions including simulations, micro-learning components, and gamified interactions. As a research assistant, I contributed to a multilingual ASR chatbot project by segmenting, transcribing, and quality-checking audio data for a DOST-funded health monitoring initiative.

I value clear communication, an agile approach to delivering customer-facing value, and opportunities to improve operational reliability. I seek roles where I can continue building robust web systems, mentor peers through best practices, and drive measurable product improvements.
