I built ImgConan, a scientific image integrity checker, from scratch. I collected and built challenging datasets, trained figure extraction and object detection models, and implemented keypoint matching to detect manipulations.
On my AI English Editing Assistant project, I fine-tuned Mistral and Qwen models for academic grammar correction and established an MDPI benchmark. I also built a semantic search recommendation engine indexing academic profiles and publications, improving reviewer recommendation acceptance by 30%.
