What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role in impactful urban development where I can apply research and analytics to sustainable cities and urban governance, collaborate cross-culturally, and support practical solutions through GIS/IT and community-focused problem-solving.

I’m a driven Urban Development and Sustainable Management postgraduate with a strong interest in sustainable cities, urban governance, social innovation, and community development. Through my studies at Doon University, I’ve built a foundation in financing urban development, urban planning & policy, urban housing & land management, and sustainable water and flood management.

I’ve complemented my academic focus with hands-on experience and leadership. In my UUSDA internship, I worked in the GIS/IT department of a project under Uttarakhand Urban Sector Development Agency, supporting field-relevant work through a technology-informed urban lens. Alongside that, I coordinate career development events as a CRC Student Coordinator and have led initiatives as Joint Secretary and Class Representative to improve student engagement and ensure faculty feedback channels stay active.

My research and learning style reflect my focus on real-world social impact—examining social hierarchy and power dynamics in Ruskin Bond’s work and exploring links like SDG 4 implementation in Uttarakhand. I bring strong communication, research, and analytical skills, and I’m excited to apply them to impactful urban development projects with dynamic, cross-cultural teams.
