What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role where I can apply clinical assessment skills and research methods to develop and validate culturally grounded psychometric tools, while collaborating in multidisciplinary mental health teams and learning from expressive arts–based interventions.

Clinical psychology postgraduate with hands-on experience across severe psychopathology, crisis intervention, community mental health, and adolescent well-being. Trained in 11 standardized psychological assessment tools, including the Rorschach, MMPI-2, MCMI-III, TAT, HAM-D, HAM-A, and STAI, administered during a clinical internship at a psychiatric inpatient unit where I worked with patients presenting with schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and severe depressive episodes, including ECT monitoring.

My research background includes two original psychometric scales (Trauma Bond Scale; FOMO Scale) as part of my master's degree, two university-level research presentations at the Aavishkar Inter-Collegiate Research Convention (University of Mumbai), and an MA dissertation on the psychological well-being of adolescents of substance-dependent parents using the Vedic Personality Inventory—grounded in Indian psychology frameworks. I have a specialized theoretical foundation in trauma bonding, BPD, and PTSD relational dynamics developed through this scale work.

Crisis and suicide prevention are a formal part of my training — I hold a 30-hour certification in active listening and suicide prevention with ConnectHut (Samaritans Mumbai), with applied experience holding space for individuals in acute distress and identifying early warning signs of suicidal ideation.

My community mental health exposure comes from an observership at Pratiti Center for Mental Health, Pune, where I observed integrative expressive arts modalities—yoga, drama, music, and art therapy—in non-clinical community settings. A year-long certificate in Youth and Sexuality (Jnana Prabodhini) and academic grounding in transpersonal psychology inform how I approach LGBTQ+ identities, adolescent development, and cultural dimensions of mental health with humility and specificity.

I approach all clinical and research work through a culturally informed lens, integrating Indian psychological frameworks alongside Western clinical standards. Open to remote roles in research, psychometrics, content development, mental health writing, AI training for psychology, and junior clinical support.
