I’m a GIS Executive with hands-on experience managing and transforming spatial data for real electrical network use-cases. I import, clean, and manage electrical assets data within GIS platforms, and I focus on keeping layers both accurate and actionable.
In my current role, I create and maintain spatial layers for powerlines, transformers, and other electrical components. I also perform spatial analysis to identify potential issues like cables conflicts or overloaded circuits, ensuring the GIS data reflects accurate electrical network topology and attributes.
Earlier, I worked as a Cartographer and GIS Developer to build detailed digital maps for landscape visualization and land-use planning using ArcMap and QGIS. I contributed to the Swamitwa project under Survey of India, working on large-scale mapping and customized cartographic products for client needs.
My foundation includes digitization of cadastral maps using ArcGIS with a high-accuracy focus on data representation, plus a PGCM in Geospatial Technology Application In Rural Development. I enjoy turning raw GPS data into meaningful geographic information through mapping and analysis, such as optimizing waste bin placement based on population density and usage patterns.
