Sofiya Fauzi

I am a full time dedicated pharmacist with high attention to detail and a strong commitment to enhance patient experiences through comprehensive pharmaceutical care.

I have high interest in medical writing and translation (English - Malay) in which i am continuously improving my skills throughout becoming a well equiped and professional medical writer/translator in future. I was recently appointed as a medical translator for a postgraduate reseach QUALICOPC Study in a Malaysian Setting: Primary Care Pharmacy Services System Performance and Older Adults T2DM Patients' QOL Evaluation. In this role, i have collaborated in the translation of few sets of questionnnaires related to the study.

My journey in pharmacy began with a Bachelor in Pharmacy (Hons.) from Universiti Malaya, where I achieved a GPA of 3.51. During my studies, I undertook a significant final year project that explored the impact of Sodium Glucose Cotransporter-2 (SGLT-2) inhibitors on metabolic outcomes in type-2 diabetic patients. This research was pioneering in identifying epicardial adipose tissue thickness among Malaysians. Additionally, I have completed practical training and participated in various innovative health initiatives, showcasing my commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
