I reviewed cashier transactions, investigated discrepancies through daily bank reconciliations, and trained team members on reconciliation procedures. I also coordinated financial information across departments and prepared reports for management.
I supported accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll payments, tax processes, and cash controls. I used Excel for reconciliations, transaction analysis, reporting, and financial controls.
For my Master's thesis at DEUSTO BUSINESS SCHOOL, I developed and evaluated models to predict customer product reorders using the Instacart dataset. I selected XGBoost as the final model, achieving 0.823 ROC-AUC and 0.751 recall, and used SHAP for business-oriented interpretation.
