I’m a certified medical coder focused on accuracy, compliance, and maximizing reimbursement. I assign CPT/ICD-10 charges from hospitalization documentation, identify missed revenue opportunities, and support complex charge capture for providers.

In my pro-fee role, I translate documentation into billable pro-fee CPT and ICD-10 codes, while assisting other coders with charges tied to intricate documentation. I actively look for gaps that could impact revenue and quality, and I help ensure billing decisions are well-supported.

Previously, as a Coder I, I used Epic to review provider documentation and assign ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes. I performed HCC coding and educated providers on HCC opportunities, E/M leveling, and CMS compliance, and I completed routine documentation audits for services like Annual Wellness Visits, Transitional Care Management, and Advance Care Planning.

I also strengthened claim outcomes by querying providers to resolve incomplete documentation before submission and by reviewing billing disputes and denials to advise the customer service team. With CPC, CEMC, and CRC credentials, I bring a risk-adjustment mindset and a patient-encounter-to-claim workflow that prioritizes clarity for providers and dependable coding for payers.
