I’m a forward-thinking finance professional with over 8 years of finance and auditing experience across three continents—supporting organizations through Financial Services, Mining, and Manufacturing. I build strong audit and accounting foundations in financial accounting, data analysis, risk assessment, and regulatory compliance, so teams can deliver accurate, defensible outcomes.
In my recent role as Financial Manager (Agribusiness), I oversee monthly management accounts, budgeting, forecasting, and statutory compliance and corporate governance. I lead working capital management (inventory, credit risk, customer supply chain finance), cash flow and treasury controls, and support SARS obligations (VAT, PAYE, income tax), while contributing to audits, reviews, and statutory reporting.
Previously, as an Assistant Audit Manager across EY and KPMG, I successfully managed audit engagements (up to 5–8 at a time), wrote technical accounting memos for complex transactions (including business combinations, mergers and acquisitions, and technical areas such as IAS38/IAS16/IAS28), and coached teams through evolving methodologies and software. I’ve been especially proud of driving the implementation of an in-house data analytics tool that transitioned audits from manual to automated, improving efficiency through accurate data processing and reporting.
I naturally lead and mentor—supervising audit teams of 3–8 and coaching trainees—while continuously strengthening control environments, stakeholder relationships, and risk-focused execution.
