I’m a professional ESL Teacher and student teacher with a passion for student learning, combining experience in both the online classroom and physical classroom. As a Language Consultant at Open English (2023–Present), I taught ESL to 1000+ students from diverse cultural backgrounds in an international virtual classroom, leading virtual lessons via Zoom and supporting learners aged 10–65+ with basic, intermediate, and advanced English. I use a variety of mediums, differentiate activities to match language proficiency, and focus on interactive within-group environments that keep students engaged.

From May 2024 to June 2024, I completed student teacher experience at Moregrove Primary, where I collaborated with staff, participated in school activities and meetings, and supported instruction by assisting in leading lessons and supervising learners. I also helped in after-school math classes and provided general support wherever needed. Alongside my classroom experience, I’m building my teaching foundation through a BEd Intermediate phase (UNISA, 1st year) and a TELF Certificate (120 hours), strengthening my approach to lesson differentiation, grammar, phonics, and effective classroom management.
