What I'm looking for

I’m looking to begin a career in data engineering and grow within the insurance and financial services industry.

I built a Python pipeline that scrapes Food Lovers Market store locations, geocodes addresses, and loads clean data into SQL Server. I also designed a normalized MySQL manufacturing database with stored procedures and triggers.

At ZTQ Solutions, I designed and built interactive Power BI dashboards from business reporting requirements. I used Power Query and DAX to prepare and model the data, and cleaned, transformed, and validated datasets for reporting and analysis.

As a Data Visualisation Intern at Excelerate, I conducted exploratory analysis on more than 5,000 records and cleaned and validated datasets. I shared data-driven recommendations to improve reporting clarity and adoption.

I hold a BSc in Mathematical Statistics from the University of Pretoria and a Postgraduate Diploma in Data Analytics from Emeris. I’m eager to begin a career in data engineering and grow in the insurance and financial services industry.
