I’m looking for a role where I can lead backend/platform delivery, own scalable Node.js/TypeScript systems, and strengthen CI/CD and AWS infrastructure—collaborating with cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments.

I’m a Senior Backend Engineer with 10+ years of experience building scalable Node.js and TypeScript systems. I deliver complex software end-to-end in fast-paced startup environments, from concept to deployment and iteration.

In my current role as Backend & Platform Lead for P.M. News Nigeria (Remote), I led migration from legacy PHP to Node.js/TypeScript for a high-traffic national news platform. I design scalable APIs, integrate third-party services, and ensure features move reliably through development, deployment, and follow-up improvements.

I’m hands-on with CI/CD and infrastructure—building and managing CI/CD pipelines and AWS infrastructure using EC2, S3, and CloudFront. I also support clean engineering practices like code reviews, enforcing engineering standards, and maintaining clean architecture.

Earlier roles strengthened my breadth across backend and web delivery: Web Developer and contract Solution Engineer building customized SaaS platforms with PHP and CodeIgniter, plus e-commerce development with Laravel and Magento. I also bring leadership from managing school management/CBT systems and developing Node.js APIs alongside PHP-based platforms.
