Shaylyn Jumaar

I’m a Politics graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Humanities (specializing in Politics), with a strong foundation in governance, public administration, and international relations. I’m motivated by ethical leadership, public service, and sustainable development, with a clear focus on youth leadership and community impact.

Through my work as an Educational Assistant, I supported teachers with lesson planning across multiple subjects, managed student academic records, and maintained organized filing systems for efficient record access. I also helped learners with academic challenges in a fast-paced school environment, strengthening my communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

As a volunteer with God’s Vision NGO, I coordinated community outreach programs providing food and clothing, assisted elderly individuals with SASSA grant applications, and delivered motivational talks in schools to encourage youth development. Earlier volunteer work with Men & Women of Hope NPO included youth leadership camps, anti-gender-based violence awareness, community clean-up initiatives, and fundraising support—experiences that shaped my commitment to service and measurable social outcomes.
