At River Island, I own quality assurance end-to-end for retail POS and self-checkout systems. I led the self-checkout rollout independently, delivering zero major live defects after launch.
I build and maintain Cucumber BDD automation for fixed POS and self-checkout using WebdriverIO, TypeScript, POS emulation, and hardware abstraction layers. My automation work reduced self-checkout regression execution from five days to two days, while I also identified and prevented a critical double-charge defect before go-live.
Previously at Ingenico Payment Systems, I progressed from QA Engineer to Lead QA Engineer, testing payment terminal hardware, firmware, APIs, and PCI-DSS compliance across PED devices. I bring hands-on experience with payment processing, peripheral integrations, release readiness, and risk-based quality strategy.
