Directed and managed multiple teams, overseeing regulatory compliance, quality control, and proficiency testing programs for clinical diagnostics. Led clinical testing and validation, ensuring compliance with FDA, CAP, and CLIA standards to deliver reliable diagnostic insights and optimize laboratory operations.

Provided expert consultation to physicians on test selection and interpretation, handling over 400 consultations as pathologist on-call. Led validation and improvement of analytical methods, equipment, and processes for clinical chemistry, while also managing operations and ensuring quality and compliance with CLIA and CAP regulations across multiple laboratory sections.

Conducted molecular biology and biochemical experiments to identify novel biology in ex-vivo cultured malaria parasites, utilizing CRISPR-Cas9 gene editing and multi-omics technologies. Characterized proprietary glucagon analogs and synthesized water-soluble copolymer precursors for drug delivery, while also mentoring undergraduate and graduate students.

Conducted toxicology experiments in cancer cell lines and preadipocytes, measuring oxidative stress and performing molecular biology and biochemical analysis to test effects of proprietary drugs.
