At State Street, I designed and implemented backend services for a global Identity and Access Management platform using Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and Oracle. I also migrated enterprise IAM applications from Java 8 to Java 17.
I contributed to modernizing legacy monolithic applications toward Spring-based microservices and led architectural optimization and modular refactoring. I also investigated and resolved critical production incidents affecting IAM applications.
I built and supported Java integrations between internal business applications and the Identity Governance platform, implementing REST and SOAP services. I also optimized Oracle PL/SQL procedures and SQL queries, and developed interfaces using React and GWT.
On my Distributed Event Processing Platform project, I designed an event-driven microservices architecture using Kafka, Avro, and Schema Registry. I implemented services with Java 21 and Spring Boot, added Keycloak OAuth2/OIDC authentication, and used Prometheus, Grafana, Testcontainers, and ArchUnit for observability and testing.
