I’m a Software Engineer Intern with a strong foundation in software development, programming, and cybersecurity principles. I enjoy turning complex security workflows into dependable automation—especially when it improves compliance and incident response accuracy.

At Wrixte Infosec Private Limited (Oct 2024–Aug 2025), I designed and deployed a Firewall Auditor System using FastAPI and Python to automate CIS benchmark validation across Fortigate and Palo Alto firewalls. I implemented detection for shadow, duplicate, and over-permissive rules, reducing manual review effort by 40% and strengthening compliance accuracy; I also built secure file upload and parsing workflows (JSON/XML), and developed UEBA anomaly detection modules in the company SIEM using behavioral baselining of login activity, privilege escalations, and data exfiltration attempts. I further conducted threat analysis and anomaly detection with OpenSearch analytics to improve visibility into suspicious patterns and support faster, more accurate incident response.

Outside my internship, I built a cross-platform behavioral monitoring tool with encrypted logging and event-driven screenshot capture, and developed a lightweight EDR tool supporting process, file, and network monitoring with both rule-based and machine learning detection (including Isolation Forest). I’m currently advancing my skills through an M.Tech in Computer Science and Information Security at Manipal Institute of Technology (MAHE), where I focus on practical, secure systems that deliver measurable impact.
