I am a lawyer with a flair for litigation, arbitration and adjudication, and I take pride in being hardworking, adept at research, logical and resourceful. As a Judge at the Customary Court, Kaduna State Judiciary, I preside over Criminal, Civil, Matrimonial, and Land related cases, while performing administrative functions and monitoring the filing of cases.
Before my judgeship, I served as Associate Counsel and as a Corp-Lawyer at A. D. Umar & Associate, where I represented clients in various courts, conducted due diligence and investigations, carried out legal research, and drafted legal briefs, letters of demand, statutory notices and other correspondences. I also counsel clients—especially in matrimonial causes—and focus on protecting clients’ interest, enhancing justice, and delivering sound, well-reasoned legal outcomes.
