I am a recent graduate from Bingham University, where I earned my Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). My academic journey has been marked by a strong commitment to understanding patient care, particularly through my thesis on self-care practices among patients with sickle cell disease. This research has fueled my passion for improving health outcomes in vulnerable populations.
Completed my internship at Federal Medical Centre Owo, where I rotated through various departments including Internal Medicine, Surgery, Pediatrics, and Emergency Medicine. This hands-on experience has not only honed my clinical skills but also deepened my understanding of the complexities of patient care. I actively engaged in departmental seminars, sharing knowledge and learning from experienced professionals.
Beyond my clinical training, I have held leadership roles such as Media Director for the Nigeria Medical Students’ Association COVID-19 Vaccination Project, where I coordinated efforts to promote vaccination awareness. I am eager to bring my skills in both medicine and communication to a dynamic healthcare team.
