At Aidsfonds, I led the international Key Populations portfolio, overseeing five projects and a 14-person team across 10 countries. I guided HIV and SRHR advocacy and policy strategies focused on reducing stigma, protecting civic space, and bringing community priorities into decision-making.
At GALZ — An Association of LGBTI people in Zimbabwe, I led advocacy for national HIV and SRHR programmes and services for key populations. I also coordinated Zimbabwe's 2022 Universal Periodic Review process, which resulted in three recommendations being accepted.
At GALZ, I helped establish protection mechanisms, referral pathways, and housing support for LGBTIQ+ people facing displacement. This work reduced documented human rights violations and displacement by 15% nationally while annual reach grew from 500 to more than 15,000 beneficiaries.
Across my work, I have partnered with researchers and universities to bring community data into health information systems and policy, and advised government, regional bodies, and UN agencies. I bring experience in coalition building, donor partnerships, and rights-based advocacy across Africa and internationally.
